Note: Because of the pandemic, the policy is subject to change.

Time: Saturday, Oct 2, 2021

Location: Winston Chung Hall @ UCR [Map]

Platform: CodeForces

We have both the on-site contest and simultaneously an online contest.

  • You need to bring your own laptops.

  • Only on-site participants can win prizes. The online participants may get special electronic certificates.

  • You may use online resources during the contest, but you are not allowed to communicate with anyone about the contest.

  • Each problem has a set of test cases and a runtime limit.

  • Each problem has 10-20 test cases. Passing each test case (getting correct answer within time limit) will earn you a certain percentage of the points of the corresponding problem.

  • You may use any languages supported by CodeForces, including C++, C#, Java, Python, etc.

  • You can use the standard library for each language.

  • A problem’s runtime limit is automatically adjusted (see CodeForces Time Scaling). However, based on the usual performance of each language, using C++ is highly recommended.

  • One week before the contest, we will have a practice contest to help the participants to get used to the website interface. See more details here.

  • You have to stay until the closing remarks (5:30 - 6:00 pm) to get the prizes. Dinner will be provided.

Schedule of the day:

12:30pm - 1:00pm: Preparing for the contest
